Understanding Affection Rating & Points

Understand Affection Rating, Affection Points, and Energy, and how they affect your interactions with characters.

✦

✦ 01・AFFECTION RATING (AR)

Affection Rating (AR) measures your relationship progress with a character.

  • Earned through talking, dating, and special visit actions.
  • Higher AR improves your chances of successful dates and certain interactions.
  • Reaching specific AR requirements unlocks additional relationship opportunities.

Your current AR and relationship status are displayed in the visit interface.

✦

◈ 02・AFFECTION POINTS (AP)

Affection Points (AP) are earned through talking and dating and spent on special visit actions.

See a Positive Talk ResponseA Talk response that increases Affection Rating.
See a Negative Talk ResponseA Talk response that decreases Affection Rating.

For example, Hold Hand, Hug, and Kiss consume AP to increase AR, although some interactions have a chance of failure.

Important

AR measures relationship progress, while AP is a spendable resource.

✦

⌖ 03・ENERGY

Energy is spent when talking to characters or going on dates. It is separate from AP, which is used for special visit actions.

  • Your remaining Energy is displayed in the visit interface.
  • Confess Love permanently increases your maximum Energy to 10 when interacting with any card of that character and immediately restores 5 Energy.
  • Confess Love can only be used once per character and can be purchased with gems through the Gem Shop (kgemshop).
